Firefox ユーザー 17954442 によるレビュー (3年前)Although I love the idea behind the app, using it has seriously downgraded my internet experience. Works fine after installation, but alfter closing my browser and restarting it, it shows connected but none of my (buffered) pages will load. Disconnecting and reconnecting more often than not results in the app saying it can't make a connection to the server. The only way I get it to work so far is disconnecting vpn, loading pages without the vpn connection, and then connecting VPN again - miraculously, suddenly, it connects to the servers. But having to load pages without vpn first seems to beat the purpose of it. This is not the robust proton applicatin quality I've come to love, I'll be switching back to the desktop app.

- As of now (26.07.17) the Proton VPN extension is unusable and a compromised service. Switching back to PIA for VPN
Recently the Firefox extension has become unstable, often reporting 'invalid refresh token' at startup. Sometime during this issue they have also taken it upon themselves to link the VPN extension info to their webmail service, which is an exceptionally fubar breach of privacy and security as it uses that info to authenticate itself, granting anyone with access to the broswer instant access to email, account information, and account settings - COMPROMISED.開発者の返信

Please contact us at https://protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details such as your browser version and Proton VPN extension version, the type of internet connection you're using, whether you have any other extensions installed for privacy/security purposes, etc. We'd be happy to help you troubleshoot once we have more details to work with.

I have to manually disable and re-enable the extension for it to work again.

I'll get the notification that it connected, but the icon will appear as if there is no connection, and internet access is completely blocked. A few times of turning it off and on, closing and reopening Firefox, it will start to work again. I think it's related to auto-connect, maybe there needs to be a delay, but I don't really feel like troubleshooting. I really wanted to like it but the desktop app is just more reliable.

After the worst nightmare of Proton VPN disabling their desktop app for Windows 7 (that is precisely what needs it the most) I have attempted the work around of installing the addon to Firefox 115 and Eclipse r3dfox 151. I have pinned the addon icon to the toolbar but when I click on it I only get this swirling. Please advise or fix.開発者の返信
