Unfortunately we have been forced to rewrite the add-on from scratch and not all features could be reimplemented.

I'm sorry to hear you don't like the new panel for selecting logins - it was one of the few options available to us but I expect Firefox will improve in the coming year or two so that we can make some improvements.

If you're interested in reducing the number of mouse clicks you might want to try the Ctrl+Shift+2 keyboard shortcut to bring up the list of matched login entries.
