i love the idea so much, but it blocks stories as well. i have to turn the extension off to view people's stories. i currently have the "disable stories" unchecked, but i still cant see stories. just letting u know!

Effective, but lacks customisation. I want to be able to see stories -- but it keeps redirecting me away from the relevant page.

It's good, the only extension I've seen that can block explore feed posts. But I really wish it had more options - I've set up my Home feed to block suggested posts, so I'd like to be able to disable the redirect for it since I want to view stories! Instead, this extension forces me into the following version of the feed, which is extremely annoying. In order to view my stories, I have to turn off the extension (through Firefox, since there's no option to toggle the extension itself!) every time.

This is the best way to hide the Reels, but it’s not exactly seamless either. For example, when I post messages on the home screen, the Reels icon appears and then disappears right away. As a result, the page takes a little longer to load between each page change.

I don't have this issue with IGplus, but this one asks for a tip all the time, so I end up using Unscroll Instagram.

In other words, it works but its "clunky"

Doesn't remove "following" section. Only For You. So pretty much useless as it does not "unscroll" instragram, it only does it on the For You

I was considering writing an extension that does exactly this but thanks for doing it.
Small suggestion, add an option to enable/disable stories. Most people post there more than the feed so I don't think it's that much of an offensive option.

I recomend a on/off switch button, because when I dont want to use I have to remove extension and then install when I want to use

Would be perfect,except it removes the story tab as well, instead of just the recommended posts and reels.

It’s not working. When I tap Explore, the Reels tab appears and stays there permanently. I can also still see the recommended posts. I hope this will be improved, and I’ll try it again in the future.

Thank you! This is the exact extension I've been looking for and has saved me from too much procrastination. I'm so happy that I can still communicate with people online without having hours wasted on scrolling.

It disables the short/reels section and by a quick look through insta, it blocks majority of content that makes you doomscroll. Kudos to the creator!

Sad/happy to say, but this addon has changed my life. I was spending 10+ hours a week mindlessly scrolling Instagram, losing sleep, becoming depressed. This app has completely stopped my addiction to this awful Instagram feature. I hope more people use it, and Firefox. Thank you.

I still see the reels tab but the videos are blurred out so it works just as well. The infinite scroll also is still there but the suggested videos dont play either so this also works just as well. If they were completely gone just to clean up would be perfect, but THANKS for making this!
