It's useful for those of us who hate the new Reddit with a passion. But this extension has broken my cardinal rule of extensions: recently, it's started grabbing focus a while after Firefox has loaded switch to the tab it pops up to whine that it needs new permissions. **Anything** grabbing focus away from what I am doing is intolerable. It's a statement that the developer believes whatever I could be possibly doing at the moment (attending a meeting, giving a presentation, etc.) is less important than the needs of their extension. That's wrong. Especially given the fact that Firefox has a built-in way to alert you that a plugin needs new permissions.

Because I run Firefox on multiple machines, often with multiple partitions, I see this damned whiny tab over and over. So, into the bin it goes.

This is actually useful when you disliked Reddit's new design, I love it!

Before recent changes, this was a must-have extension for me. 6 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately it is now randomly not working. If the Reddit post is just text the redirect works fine, if the Reddit post has ANY kind of multi-media (picture, video) the redirect to old.reddit is ignored. That's like 50% of the posts on Reddit. This extension is not really working now. I'm using Firefox browser.

i am sorry to have to give this a bad rating, this extension has worked incredibly well for so long but since the recent updates it fails to redirect on many occasions.

it seems to be on page that are translated, but i'm not sure and anyway i can't fix it.

i found out that using a simple userscript is much more efficient. just as before. there are many such scripts available on github, just search "old reddit redirect userscript" and click first result.

This extension has been critical for years now, but the most recent update has made it kind of confusing at least on mobile. It's trying to redirect to reddit.com where "old.reddit is served now" (according to git) but that doesn't make sense because old.reddit is still there and works fine. Feels like it's a decision made for the purpose of people who are not logged into Reddit but for those of us that were logged in, there wasn't a problem that needed fixed.

This new version interferes with add-ons like Oldlander and others that were built to run off the old.reddit domain, but this extension tries to direct away from that. I'm going to have to revert for now I guess.

I also have this old.reddit.com forcing me to non-old www.reddit.com version as of today. Been using this for years.

I don't want to leave a bad review or anything, i enjoyed this extension in the past but for some reason this isn't working for me. Right now it forces it to www.reddit.com instead of old, but it doesn't actually show the old interface, but the new one.

This extension just made my week or maybe even month. With the recently added forced login I really thought I would have to stop using Reddit completely (and lose tons of valuable search engine results as well, by the way), but now it feels like back to normal again. Let's just hope they don't find a more permanent way to screw their old userbase.

the 3.0.0 version fucked up OldLander galleries with >1 image, these dont work on www.reddit.com.

Cant revert to a lower version on mobile so just removing this useless extension is the only way to use OldLander

Was great until the idiots at Reddit implemented a server side login wall. Old Reddit was better; stop forcing people to use your confusing ugly redesign.

Edit: It has now been fixed, not sure how long it'll last, however.

It still works well.

The addon is now useless without a Reddit account. It's a shame because it used to be very useful. I don't blame the addon developer as it's not his fault, but the addon is still useless for people not willing to register on Reddit. I hope the developer will find a workaround!

Does exactly what it says, and doesn't push overly broad/invasive "read your data on all web sites" permissions, unlike >90% of extensions for Firefox. No excessive mem usage or stability issues either.
