Extension has been extremely reliable for me over the years but over the past couple weeks the experience has really gone downhill, the VPN doesn't auto-connect on browser start, it loses connection very often and does not connect to a new server, and it often fails, outright saying I need to re-install the extension, which I have done a couple times now, to no avail. Not sure what they are cooking but I can't say I'd recommend the extension right, I will be sure to update my rating should this be a temporary spell.

EDIT: works flawlessly on Debian, all my issues it seems were because of Windows, adjusted my review to reflect my current experience with the product

If isp blocking proton site there is no way to use this extension because authorization is going before establish vpn connection.

Firefox extension has no support for mobile.

This is a major issue for anyone looking to maintain their privacy on-the-go.

If I were to use a VPN app that connects me to my home server, I wouldn't have the option of using the native Proton VPN client as well.

The lack of mobile support for this extension is a serious issue.

It works, but it's completely useless. For whatever reason it always selects the Netherlands, which is extremely slow here.
Being able to pre-select the country is a must, I think.

love proton but this is for paid only. It chooses fastest for you or you have to pay. It wouldn't even load or accept it for me to even try.

My free fastest is in Netherlands and I'm in USA.

So I guess I have to pay or it needs updated?

Sono un cliente pagante. Installato e fatto funzionare su varie macchine sempre come add on di Firefox senza alcun problema. L'unica cosa che succede di tanto in tanto e' che gli IP che usa sono stati messi in black list precedentemente, e quindi devi collegarti su altro Paese e riaccedere al sito.
