the worst is that sometimes I don't realize i'm not connected. other times i have to restart the browser to let me connect to the internet.

Since then it has done nothing but block all connections in Firefox, while other browsers work flawlessly with the same sites at the same time.

Це типовий розводняк, але те, що цим займається ця компанія - неприємно. Перевірити мої слова легко, зареєструйтеся з особливим нікнеймом чи новою поштою де ніде не світили, і через декілька місяці ви побачити подібні листи. Не рекомендую використовувати будь яку програму\розширення, бо я сумніваюся, що лише спамом вони обходяться.

Anyone can see and verify that our apps do what we claim. With that in mind, Proton is completely trustworthy and has nothing to do with any of the issues you've mentioned.

размещено год назадThe default auto-connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users.

I do see a lot of 1 star reviews where people say they are annoyed it's not free. That seems unfair criticism. Potentially Proton is misleading people into thinking it's free. That is unfair. But overall, I've had a good experience with Proton VPN. Suits my needs for a global VPN.

Anyone can sign up for our Free plan, and we don't ask for any payment details during signup. That said, having an account does not endanger your privacy and security in any way.
