I will definitely not renew after this, and neither will other members of my family.
After contacting the support in november, they were able only to suggest "activate browser history" after a few exchanges, and now after several new updates, the only change is that the error message is clear : "NordPass can't be used because your browser history is turned off". We are now in january, and there is no indication that this issue will be fixed anytime soon (or is even considered to be a real issue by the developers).
It is a shame for a long time customer to have to change, bitwarden and other competitors (that I use for work) are just better right now.
With version 6, OK, I had to check a checkbox after each connection, but at least I could connect. This version is really bad.Geliştiricinin yanıtı

I have no problem on some websites, but not on others.
Even when I have a saved password, it doesn't autofill my details, nor give me the NordPass drop downs.
Also if I right click on the ID/ Password boxes, it only gives me the option to "manage passwords", but not "use saved password."
Sometimes, if I keep trying to log in, NordPass suddenly wakes up and says "Oh, you've got saved details for this site, would you like to log in?"

EVERY TIME THE BROWSER IS OPENED.
If the permission is enabled, the extension logs in by itself.
This behavior for a so-called 'optional' setting is ridiculous. This has been going on for weeks and if it doesn't stop I'm going to change password managers and then they will stop getting ANY of my data. It feels like I'm being shaken down by a service I'm paying for.Geliştiricinin yanıtı

They are aware of the problem for a while now.
Edit: I have figured out the problem where you have to click Accept, every time the browser is opened. At least on my system.
Open the Nordpass Extension -> click accept and log in
Then go to settings and change the the Autolock Option from 'Never' to '5 Minutes' and then back to 'Never'
That did the trick for me on two different systems, because it somehow saved the settings again after doing that. Now the extensions stays unlocked, even when the browser or windows is restarted.Geliştiricinin yanıtı

It does not provide my password to login to websites. It previously worked well. There is now, no autofill function with Nordpass. I do NOT wish to change to a different browser and will not renew if not fixed quickly.

Used to work fairly well. They changed their windows app, and firefox app months ago, and its slowly degraded to never autofilling on firefox ever, across multiple computers and installs. It defeats the purpose of having a password manager, let alone paying for one that literally is just a notepad now. Even if they fix it, they have no qualms about breaking their software for months after you've paid. They probably just get 40% of their money from apple users, and 40% from chrome users and say screw the other 20%, we got their money, probably only 30% of those will be bothered to cancel. so we'll just increase prices 5% and screw firefox users.Geliştiricinin yanıtı

Almost every time I have to open the Desktop app, copy the password, and paste it. Or if it is a new password, open the desktop app, copy the details, and save the new password. That’s almost useless as an extension. I have better ways to store personal data than to pay a useless app to work as a locked text file.

Honestly what is the point of a password extension that logs itself out every day (on a private computer - I know because I check the box that this is a private computer), then asks you for not one, but two 12 character + symbol + number passwords to log back in simply to then ask you to confirm your password for the dozens of sites it claims to store for you? EVERY DAY.
You would think the password saver would be good as saving its own password(s).
