It is restoring tabs, one by one, so when I had 5600 tabs, it was trying to restore (open) a 5600 tabs one by one.
Browser of course crashed, so I was not able to open my tabs.
It is not possible to make "auto groups" based on domain or regular expression.

A new version is coming in the next few weeks that will allow you to open tabs in an unloaded state. This should make it possible to restore lots of tabs without overloading Firefox
