    paying customer here. I constantly have to re-sign in again and again, this happens every few days. no other extensions active.
    the worst is that sometimes I don't realize i'm not connected. other times i have to restart the browser to let me connect to the internet.
    used a competitor before, for a year, none of these problems.

    It worked...once. One time. Since then it has done nothing but block all connections in Firefox, while other browsers work flawlessly with the same sites at the same time.

    Disconnecting and reconnecting accomplishes nothing. I can't use this.

    This is simply false. All Proton apps are open source and have been independently audited and verified by third-party experts. Anyone can see and verify that our apps do what we claim. With that in mind, Proton is completely trustworthy and has nothing to do with any of the issues you've mentioned.

    Proton Free plan is only for 308 servers in 6 countries, probably not the country that you need.

    Should appear much before I install this extension and try to signup for free.

    The default auto-connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users.
    That said, you still have the option to switch to another randomly allocated server, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server.

    I like it. I do see a lot of 1 star reviews where people say they are annoyed it's not free. That seems unfair criticism. Potentially Proton is misleading people into thinking it's free. That is unfair. But overall, I've had a good experience with Proton VPN. Suits my needs for a global VPN.

    Es buena, pero no cumple del todo bien en algunos sitios. Por ejemplo, intenté usarla varias veces para Cloud Gaming y solo se quedaba la pantalla negra y me regresaba a inicio. Probé con otra VPN y con esa si corrió bien el juego.

    You have to create an account with the Swiss operator, then choose a paid subscription and in the description on the Mozilla site, this is cleverly passed over in silence.
