    Doesn't work with Firefox Nightly, but does work with vanilla Firefox. Would be good if they can get it working with Nightly

    if what you want is just a VPN, get this one!!! Proton is well known and it also does value privacy and its users' inputs 🙏🙏🙏 get the extension, log in, click connect and boom, thats it. i really just use it cause of age verification laws stopping me from accessing some websites, so it suits me very well 👍 thanks. plan on starting a paid thing in the future just to support Proton fr

    unlike other reviews about Linux and Firefox, ive had no problems whatsoever using this VPN! im using Librewolf tho and Linux Mint, as i said, no problems here for about a month using the extension

    Unable to connect to the internet after unlocking session on Linux.
    Crash Firefox from time to time, which make a new session start without my tabs...

    The bad thing about protonvpn free is that it assigns you a server based on your IP. Proton may be collaborating with authorities. Something we don't know internally, and they can already know your IP. So when you connect you are assigned to a free server but what you don't know who is connected to that server can be you alone or with other people. Another thing is that it uses VPS, dedicated servers are in England, we all know that England is an ally of the United States so draw your conclusions. What I don't understand is why one cannot choose which server to use and not that the system itself assigned me based on its preferences.

    The default Connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. That said, you still have the option to change server, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server in a country of your choice.

    All of the Proton VPN servers use static IP addresses, which means that the same IP address is shared between all users connected to the server, and the IP address is the same all the time for that particular server, unless the server itself is changed. However, this does not apply to the free and Secure Core servers, which are selected from a pool of servers in order to balance out the load. As for dedicated IPs, we support multiple other countries: https://proton.me/support/dedicated-server-locations.

    Lastly, we're not collaborating with any authorities whatsoever.     Great app, does a good job. I'd love it if they added a feature to turn on for specific websites.

    So like sometimes I need to turn the extension on and off a lot sometimes cuz if I don't it just won't connect to internet. (The web browser not the computer) I've tried this on waterfox and librefox I believe and multiple devices and OSes

    I am very happy with the extension as it automatically connects without any problem. During my nearly 1 year use I never had a problem in any way.
