NordPass, without the Firefox extension needs some work; it occasionally fails to automatically ask me to add a password for a new website that I generate a password for, or keeps offering to generate a password for the website when I am typing in a password. There seems to be a conflict between Mozilla's own password storage (is that connected to Nordpass Password addon?) and Nordpass. Another issue is Nordpass has allowed me to open and pay for two separate Nordpass accounts without telling me that I already have a Nordpass account. I've been with Nordvpn a long time and it works okay when Ubuntu 22.04 Pro opens it from the CLI. But the interface to Firefox seems to have problems at times. Not sure if it because I use cookie and adblockers on Firefox. Doesn't Firefox have its own password vault? Maybe that's the source of the problem I see.

    NordPass is very helpful and does a great job at managing my passwords. My only critic would be for the regular subscription to include at least two devices instead of just one. Also, a feature that regularly tracks how long each password has been stored and assists with updating passwords at a frequency to secure accounts even further. I'm a scatterbrain who makes notes to remember things, but proceeds to forget the notes to help me remember in the first place, so a password manager that can account for human folly more efficiently is always a great thing.

    Can't go wrong with Nord. I sincerely believe nordvpn, nordpass and nordlocker is the best way to go.

    Migrated to NordPass from 1Password over a year ago and I still miss 1P in some ways. Too many cases of NP not coming up in password fields. My passkeys are unreliable. Using VPNs seem to confuse the heck out of NP and it sets up new logins. Using VPN on different devices even worse. I had over 6 passkeys for the same Amazon a/c and another 5 for a second. Was losing my mind and had to delete them all to go back to email+p/w. Also, NP Firefox extension being corrupted and needing reinstall--the least reliable extension, I believe. I also use Brave and Edge extensions which seem much more stable. However, I have seen the extension improve considerably in stability and features (Secure Notes...yeah!). Password generation and autosave mostly work like a charm, so am leaning toward a 4 over 3.

    It's a good extension. I have used it for many years without a problem.

    I recently came across two websites that don't autofill and I've opened a case (#20808814) with NordPass support. They've said that the bug should be resolved in the next update, but the Firefox extension hasn't been updated since Jan 19, 2026 while all the rest of the applications have been updated (Google Chrome, MacOS native, Windows native). What happened to the monthly Mozilla add-on release cadence?

    Quite simply this is the best free/paid password application I have used, and I have tried the vast majority of these. It is even better if you use the reasonably priced premium version, but I find the free version entirely adequate.
